New Year's Eve in the Park!

The Live in the Park! music series ends with a bang: a New Year's Eve extravaganza featuring the legendary DJ El Russo and the high-octane Marlow Rosado Orchestra. DJ El Russo has spun across Miami's Latin club scene for the past three decades. Rosado is a veteran musician who blends '70s and ‘80s traditional salsa with jazz arrangements and sensitivities. The party starts at 9 pm and continues through to the New Year with room to dance and food to spare!

One might hear a Tito Puente song now and then, but for an evening of the Mambo King's iconic songbook, a Tito Puente, Jr. show is a must. Puente Jr. has focused his career on curating his father’s work, performing favorites like “Oye Como Va,” “Ran Kan Kan” and more, interspersed with anecdotes about the famed New York-born Puerto Rican musician.

A favorite with South Florida audiences, the Puerto Rico-born Torres has been described as "an exotic mix of styles that takes the listener through American, Brazilian and Afro-Cuban jazz."

“No ocultarás tus fantasiases sexuales” debería ser uno de los mandamientos para un matrimonio duradero, y esa es la premisa de la siguiente historia: Tras cumplir 10 años de casados y querer seguir fortaleciendo su relación, una pareja (Lola y Lalo) deciden hacer realidad sus fantasias, y como las damas van primero, comienza ella. Lola sueña con tener dos hombres en su cama, asi que aprovecha el acuerdo para convencer a Lalo de invitar a “El Chico de al Lado” para llevar a cabo su mayor deseo. Aunque Lalo no está del todo convencido, decide aceptar, sin imaginar todo lo que sucederá en una aparente noche de pasión. Es la historia de un trío donde una mujer es quien lleva el control.

Featuring puppets and human actors with music and lyrics by Robert Lopez and Jeff Marx and book by Jeff Whitty, the show won Best Musical, Book, and Score at the 2004 Tony Awards. The show has been praised for its approach to themes of racism, homosexuality, and internet pornography.

Las Lloronas is a hyper-realistic and impactful immersive theater production that introduces the audience to the historical practice of professional mourners and how it was utilized in a fictional Cuban funeral home in the 1950s and later in Miami, Florida. By utilizing drama and dark humor, the play will show how the practice of hiring professional mourners began as a noble profession designed to assist grieving families and how one llorona distorted the practice into a money-making, criminal enterprise that resorted to extortion and worse.
